Wind Power Turbine

Governor Patrick is pushing wind turbines hard in Massachusetts in a soon to be released state plan to increase the regions dependence on windpower. Currently we already have about 9 huge wind turbines. The wind power goal is to run 800,000 homes by 2020, where 90% of power coming from other sources. As you know, the Governor already layouted out a state solar power rebate plan which has been very successful. Governor Patrick as already proclaimed, “Now is the time to turn to wind power”.

Patrick’s proposal would put Massachusetts among the majority of states with some wind-power production. Texas is tops, with 6,300 megawatts of existing capacity spread over dozens of wind farms.
